Yes. You can take your UK practical driving test in an automatic car at both Chilwell and Colwick test centres. Passing in an automatic gives you a full UK driving licence restricted to automatic vehicles. Driving an automatic allows you to focus more of your attention on observation, road position and hazard perception.
Two-hour sessions allow more time to practise a skill, receive feedback, and apply that feedback within the same lesson. Many learners make more consistent progress through longer, less frequent sessions than short, frequent ones. The hourly rate is also lower on both the single session and the block package with 2-hour lessons.
