Learn to Drive in Your First Language

Understanding road positioning, junction priority, and hazard awareness is easier when it is explained in the language you think in. Mohammad adapts every lesson accordingly.

🇬🇧
English

All standard lessons are delivered in English. Mohammad adjusts pace, vocabulary and explanation style to match each learner's level — whether you are a complete beginner or returning after years away from driving.

🇧🇩
Bengali

Bengali (Bangla) is available throughout the lesson. Mohammad speaks conversational and instructional Bengali fluently, and can switch to Bengali mid-lesson when explaining a complex junction, road position, or hazard scenario. H&E is one of very few DVSA-approved automatic driving schools in Nottingham offering Bengali-language tuition.

🇮🇳
Hindi

Hindi instruction is fully available. Many learners from the Indian community across Nottingham — particularly in Hyson Green, Beeston, and West Bridgford — prefer certain road concepts explained in Hindi for clarity. Mohammad accommodates this naturally during lessons.

🇵🇰
Urdu

Urdu-language lessons are available across all covered Nottingham postcodes. Mohammad switches between English and Urdu as needed, making it easier for learners who are more comfortable receiving driving instruction in Urdu.

Why It Matters

Why Multilingual Instruction Helps Learners Pass

Learning to drive involves processing a large amount of new information quickly — road position, mirror checks, junction priority, hazard response, signalling. When any of this is unclear, it leads to hesitation. Hesitation in a driving test leads to minor faults and sometimes serious faults.

For learners whose first language is not English, having a key concept explained in Bengali, Hindi, or Urdu — even briefly, mid-lesson — can resolve confusion that would otherwise take multiple sessions to work through. Mohammad uses this naturally, without making it a formal process.

This is not a specialist ‘translated lesson’ service — it is simply an instructor who is fluent in four languages and uses whichever communication approach works best for each individual learner.
