6 Training ModulesOfficial DVSA SchemeMay reduce insurance premium
Pass Plus is not a test — it is a structured programme of post-pass training covering the road types and conditions that standard driving lessons rarely address.
Town Driving
Advanced urban navigation — traffic density, bus lanes, complex junctions, and pedestrian-heavy environments beyond standard test level.
All-Weather Driving
Rain, low visibility, wet roads, and reduced stopping distances. Building genuine confidence in conditions not covered during standard lessons.
Rural Roads
Narrow country lanes, agricultural vehicles, hidden junctions, and variable speed limits. Essential preparation for driving outside Nottingham.
Dual Carriageways
Joining, overtaking, lane management, and exiting at speed. The A52 and A453 in Nottingham are covered as part of this module.
Night Driving
Adapting observation technique, headlight management, and hazard identification in low-light conditions.
Motorway Driving
Joining the M1 at Junction 25 (Nottingham), lane discipline, smart motorway rules, and extended motorway journeys at national speed limit.
Why Pass Plus?
What New Drivers Miss After Passing
The standard UK driving test assesses you on urban and suburban roads at up to 60mph. It does not cover motorway driving, night conditions, rural roads with no street lighting, or extended dual carriageway journeys at 70mph.
Pass Plus fills these gaps in a structured way — not with another test, but with guided experience in conditions where newly qualified drivers statistically have the highest risk. The M1 Junction 25 near Nottingham is included in the motorway module, giving local context to national road skills.
Mohammad will personalise your Pass Plus programme around which modules are most relevant to how and where you drive — you do not need to cover all six if some are already well within your ability.

Pass Plus is an official DVSA training scheme for newly qualified drivers. It covers six modules: town driving, all-weather driving, rural roads, dual carriageways, night driving, and motorway driving. It is not a test — it is a structured programme of post-pass tuition.
Completing Pass Plus may qualify you for a discount on car insurance with some providers. Not all insurers recognise it, so it is worth checking with your provider before booking. The skill development is valuable regardless of the insurance outcome.
Pass Plus requires a minimum of 6 hours of training. Depending on your current skill level and how many modules you need to cover, it may take one or several sessions. Mohammad will discuss a realistic plan based on your needs.
Pass Plus is designed for newly qualified drivers — typically within the first year of passing their practical test. It is particularly useful for motorway driving (which is not covered in standard lessons) and night or adverse weather driving.
